Scouting today provides challenges and adventures for young people aged between 6 and 26 years both male and female. It’s all about fun with a purpose, helping members demonstrate their potential as individuals and active members of the society. At the Sunrise Scouting Club we do believe that young people will develop most.
As a way of imparting these knowledge and skills, the club has gone for numerous trips just to expose these young ones to the outside world. So far the club has had some activities in the camps we have gone to. The club comprises of 50 members and 2 patrons. Oh my, what an awesome club to join.
Scouting is the most enjoyable movement in the universe. It has many activities to make a boring life a better life. It is the only movement that makes a scout socializes with everyone in the world.
Scouting teaches us various things:
1. In emergency case we can help in First Aid.
2. It helps us to improve skills e.g. listening and expressing ourselves.
3. It teaches us how to be responsible.
4. It gives courage to people and help them to be confident.
